Transformations Early Learning and Development Center offers quality care within a safe, child-friendly learning environment catering to the specific needs of children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years of age. TELDC programs will give children the opportunity to develop self-esteem, confidence, self-discipline, and independence at their own pace. TELDC programs consist of developmentally appropriate practices that appeal to children’s natural curiosity, nurtures their spontaneous thoughts and actions, and encourages their creativity. It emphasizes self-selected, self-directed, and self-paced activities. When children engage themselves in activities of their choice learning can be based on the abilities and interests of each child instead of on a prescribed syllabus. There is enjoyment in learning, and when children are trusted to progress at their own rate, they take pride in what they can achieve without any need of comparison with another. The educational aspect of the program enhances the understanding of specified topics using weekly themes that incorporate best practices of early childhood education experts and promote school readiness. These themes will include comprehensive domains of learning such as: science, math, arts, language development, physical and social-emotional development, and social studies.
