Evolving Butterflies

At the age of 3 up through the age of 4, our once Transforming Cocoons are developing even more. They have transitioned into Evolving Butterflies with learning twinkling in their eyes. That’s why at TELDC we offer our preschoolers "The Transformed Child™" curriculum, which focuses on developing a child's language, social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development with age-appropriate activities and play. Our preschool program enhances the understanding of topics using thematic units. These themes will incorporate learning across several domains such as: Math, Science, The Arts, Physical/Healthy Awareness, Social Studies, Cognitive, and Language & Literacy. We also give our preschoolers several opportunities throughout the day to explore in “The Transforming Stations™” which will allow them to grow and develop early learning skills that will ready them for kindergarten.
A day in the life of “an Evolving Butterfly” may consist of:
Child-directed Activities - in our transforming stations
Group Activities - circle time to discuss themed units
Nap and Lunch - downtime to chat over lunch and rest.
Outdoor Play - twice daily to allow for physical development
